Today I preached on Jesus clearing the Temple (twice)... I used this song to "unpack" the account in John 2. The words were written by my friend, Gerrit Dawson; I wrote the music back in 2000 or so and we used it as a "sermon-song" as I did this morning. It was written on piano, which is how I've always played it (you can hear that in the middle of the sermon audio: starts at 9:55). But for tonight's "Sunday is for Songs" I decided to try it on the guitar. It's a different feel (and a little rough), but I kind of liked it.
And yes, those are my Christmas jammies. :)
